Counselling

What is Counselling?

Counselling is a unique opportunity to discuss any issues that are causing you concern.  You will meet with an experienced and qualified counsellor who will help you to talk about the things that are troubling you in a confidential, non-judgemental, safe and trusting environment.

Where will I see the counsellor?

You will usually meet with the counsellor in their place of work which will be as near to your post code as possible.

How many sessions can I expect to have?

Normally we offer up to six sessions but these can be extended in some circumstances.

How long will it last?

Sessions last an hour.  The frequency of sessions will depend on how you are feeling and what you arrange with the counsellor.

How much will it cost?

There is no fixed fee but a donation would be much appreciated as The Trellis Trust depends on the financial help of those who are able to contribute.  As a rough guide a counselling session normally costs in the region of £35.  The Trellis suggests at least £10 according to what you can afford.  However, inability to pay will not prejudice you from receiving counselling or any other therapy we offer.

Feel free to contact the Trust using the contacts page.  If you include an email address or phone number a member of the Trust will contact you to discuss your special needs.  Alternatively phone or text 07513378857
